In most cases it should be possible to open a konsole terminal, su to
root and run the command that you wanted to use with kdesu. If you want
to use administrator mode for a certain KDE configuration dialog then
the command that you have to run will be shown in the password input
window. (These commands usually start with "kcmshell ...".)
If you get an error message about not being able to access the X display
then you have to run
xauth merge /home/x-user/.Xauthority
after you have become root. "x-user" has to be replaced with the name of
the user who started the X session.
