Re: today etch upgrade: kdesu don't work

I was having that problem too, what I did was upgrade the kdebase package to
sid's version since it has the 3.5.5a-2 version of the libraries. The
problem seems to be because etch is still using 3.4.2.

Worked for me so far.

He all,
I've jus updraded etch today.

Now, after a reboot, kdesu no more works: the dialog is shown but the
root password is not accepted. It reporta a wrong password.

If I use a terminal the su command works fine, so I'm sure that the root
password is correct.

Anyone is experiencing the same problem?
There ia a solution?

Thanks
Mirto
