Hi all
Does Debian (Sarge testing) save COMPLETE boot logs anywhere?
Dmsg
| less only gives me a "cleaned up" boot log - but when my system
boots I can see there are some hotplug problems that aren't in the
log.
You can see *some* of those messages in /var/log/boot if you
edit /etc/default/bootlogd.
That did it! Saw in the log there here were errors from PCI modules
(no PCI on this box), so while I was in /etc/default I changed the
hotplug config file to not try and load the modules. Perfect boot now.
Thanks
Frank
