Hello
I've searched the internet but I couldn't find the answer.
KDE's system guard shows that something is using almost 100% of CPU, but it doesn't want to tell me who.
If I run top I get this:
[snip top output]
Can someone tell me what /95.3% wa/ in Cpu(s) line means?
From "man top":
wa -- iowait
Amount of time the CPU has been waiting for I/O to complete.
Something is doing lots of IO (probably disk IO). Have a look at the output of iostat (part of the sysstat package) to find out a little more about what sort of activity is going on.
