adept error

While I run adept for updating, after downloading packages while installing,
in details screen, I get the following error. How to avoid it?
Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server
Xlib: No protocol specified

dpkg-preconfigure: cannot connect to X server :0.0
debconf: unable to initialize frontend: Kde
debconf: (DISPLAY problem?)
debconf: falling back to frontend: Dialog
