Yes, that is some contract! Debian's 'persona', I guess, is largely due to the contract. I love the democratic nature of Debian. That and the maturity and collective intelligence of Debian users (no, I am not trying to be patronizing here). To put this into context, try visiting the MS Windows XP newsgroup one of these days. geez ... the kind of advice you can get there!
