I agree with you Paul, and intend to raise the matter with the company
when I return to Canada. All they need to do is ensure that their site
conforms with the W3C standard. (Because MSIE does not completely

MS, and MSIE, generally ignore standards, by design.

As for boycotting companies which basically test their sites
only on MSIE, I would like to boycott them. However, this
particular insurance company underwrites the largest group health
plan in Canada, covering all employees of the federal government
and their dependents, the Canadian Coast Guard and RCMP members and
their dependents, dependents of all military personnel, and all
pensioners from the foregoing

Educate them. Census recently managed to come around somewhat when we
complained. It helps if you can twist their conscience with
accessibility (a la, the handicapped) enablement.
