Keyboard layout Bug

Hi,
I've downloaded the etch release for some time, and there is a bug in the last release that was not solved yet!
I don't know the package cause it come with the mimimal instalation, actualy I'dont even know if it is on a package.
The bug: You install a etch system with abnt2 (brazillian) keyboard layout, and when the instalation finishes if you press Caps Lock and type some key the output is like this:
cccccDDDDFFGHHHeeeeeerrrrrrTTTTT But ALL the letter were typed with the caps on! this bug was in amd64 and i386 release for a long time!!!
