I have a 3Com 3c905B that is using the 3c59x driver module, but it will

old though. Is there a different way to set those module parameters now?

answering only to the module option part here: modinfo 3c59x shows
similar options to what is mentioned in the link. But of course, that
doesn't mean that some of them haven't changed meaning.
