I've just install bootsplash package on my system.
And I have fb module installed on my system.
I can see fb0 under /dev.
I also install the bootsplash debian theme package.
I updated my initramfs.
The corrresponding default series images can be seen.
But when the system boots, I can only see a black screen.
No beautiful pictures can be seen.:(

RE: problem making symbolic link to blackdown SOLVED but now applet still fails. ...install from the blackdown site and forgot about the debian installation process..... ... I then went to the distillation applet web site I mentioned in an earlier posting to see if I could get the applet to work that failed to work properly with the gcj plugin I got with the standard amd64 Etch ...
