import the files for storage and use on the new box.... but it appears
that Evolution will only import from 'other' programmes and not from
it's own older versions.
I have read some similar responses which say that you need to manually
recreate every directory and hand copy the emails. Surely not?
Anyone know how to solve this problem?
What happens if you cp (or tar/detar) the whole mail tree directly
to the new location? (I'd then rm the co-located index files. Evo
should then recreate them.)
The geeky thing to do would be to turn your P3 into a satellite
relay mail server by converting the mbox files to Maildir, then
install/config courier-imap, postfix, fetchmail, spamassassin and
maildrop.
