Then you won't like any file manager except Explorer.
I wasted a lot of time searching for a drop-in replacement for Windows
Explorer as well. Get used to it, there is no clone. And once you are
accustomed to another file manager (or just the shell, like me), you
won't miss it.
My first file manager was Norton Commander (the original). When the
first Explorer appeared (in Windows 95) I hated it so I started looking
for alternatives. Former Windows Commander now Total Commander was the
only one to work the way I wanted. On Linux I use MC and tried various
file managers that come close to TC. I like Krusader (though a bit slow)
and Xfe (has some troubles on drag-and-drop to audacious).
