GDM/KDM users not displaying in list on Sid

Hi.
After some update I've spotted that users ceased to appear in my GDM list.

First I thought it was due to error in theme (yes, I use the one which
supports displaying of users in list). So I tried another one. But it
didn't help.

Then I tried to change settings in GDM. As default there is checked to
use /etc/passwd as source of users to be displayed in list, so Instead
I chose them manually. It still didn't help.

Then I tried to switch to KDM. Same results either with enabled theme
or disabled (in /etc/default/kdm.d/.... option to use theme set to
false).

Logging in works well. I just have to write login instead of just
selecting it with mouse click.

I'm not the only one using my PC, so making it as simple as possible s viable.
