My hda holds grub, a XP partition and /
my home partition is on a md1 using hde5 and hdf5
what is the best way to replace hda and get the grub MBR, XP and / transfered over. Re-install?
on a possibly related subject, I can not authenticate against root user. I can sudo su. I can set root passwd, but I can not su to root. Could this be related or a seperate issue?
