I use kde as well so I try it in amarok, doesn't work. I get an error
telling me it can't open the stream.

It works in firefox and I can play it with mplayer -playlist, but not
vnc or gxine. I have some/most of the gstreamer plugins but seem to be
missing something crucial as well, which might make sense but AFAIK
gxine & amarok use the xine backends and not gstreamer.
