I found this (http://plugindoc.mozdev.org/linux.html#Java) it's exactly
what i needed.
But you don't have to do that. I promise. (Unless I did it once,
so long ago that I've since forgotten.)

You've lost me, why do you say that "You promise i don't have to do
that" as though it's a bad thing?

Symlinking the library to my personal mozilla plugin folder is about as
perfect and simple as solutions get.

Just because it's not in a .deb package does not make it evilbadscary.

If that's the impression I gave, then forgive me, since that was
*not* my intention.

What I meant to say is that installing sun-java5-plugin should do
all the work for you. Even on 64-bit system, which should only add
the overhead of installing a special package which sets up a chroot
jail, which is where 32-bit Sun Java lives.

ah ok, what i'm trying to say though is that a one line ln command is
less work than installing that package with apt.

Anyway this thread has now achieved it's purpose, probably time to let
it die.

Thanks heaps ron.
