Thanks for that info. I stumbled upon that info after looking at
bugs.debian.org.
One question - the workaround suggests setting an environment variable
to a non zero value (which I seem to have done.)
dfox@m206-157:~$ echo $__GL_FORCE_GENERIC_CPU
1
But it still didn't work, and I ran glxgears in the same contralling
terminal that I did the export in. Do I have to do this prior to
'startx'?
