aptitude update
aptitude install apt-file
apt-file update

and then

apt-file search filename

will tell you what packages filename appears in

And, as I said, for next time. You're already hosed, and thus won't be
able to install it without undue hassle...

It's a great tool for helping solve these types of problems, assumnig
you already have it installed.
