It seems that /var/lib/dpkg/available has been corrupted. This might be
the result of a problem with your hard disk, so we should probably have
a closer look the entry of gtk2-engines-pixbuf. Please post the output
of the following command:

awk '/^Package: gtk2-engines-pixbuf/,/^$/' /var/lib/dpkg/available | head -n 100
