Hi Jeff,
Thanks for your advice.
If building a new Guest with "xen-create-image" Xen will take care of
everything. I can ping the new Guest on either hostname or IP address.
If creating a new Guest by cloning an existing disk.img and swap.img.
The new Guest works without problem. But I can't ping it on its
hostname, always complaining host not found. However I can ping its IP
address without problem. I suspect whether MAC address can help me.
