it seems weird that there is only one line about the b43 module...
The driver is definitely not picking up the card. Here's what it should look like:

It is well documented that b43 + bcm43xx at the same box create
conflicts. It looks as if you have both installed, do you?
I do not. 'Broadcom 43xx' does not refer to bcm43xx, and b43 is
working fine. [I'm not the OP, who's experiencing problems.]
