Re: [trac] trac-post-commit-hook does not work

Peter Jordan, Fri Nov 13 2009 08:38:54 GMT+0100 (CET):
Hello,

I use trac/svn on debian lenny. I've installed the trac-post-commit-hook script from the src package to /usr/local/bin/trac-post-commit-hook, but it does not work.

Assume rev2 has the following commit message:

Uploaded interfaces (closes: #1).

When I run

/usr/bin/python /usr/local/bin/trac-post-commit-hook -p /srv/trac/project1 -r 2

as root (so there is no permission issue) neither an error is given nor the ticket #1 will be closed.

Can someone help me?

Ok, the solution is simple:

The format of the commit message has to be "closes #1" not "closes: #1".

PJ
