Which version of Iceweasel?  I got the same error with v3.6.*, but when
testing got updated to v5.0, that problem simply "went away".

Aha, OK this is the sort of news I was anticipating. There is
a future release which does have the required support. Very good.
Eventually I'll see it maybe in squeeze. I can live with running
chrome for it for now.
