rhythmbox error

            Just for kicks I wanted to try out Rhythmbox. Unfortunately whenever I
    try to play anything I get a pop-up error message saying, "Failed to
    create mad element; check your installation". OC, it doesn't tell me
    what needs to be checked in my installation. Anyone have any ideas?
