    Thanks, Gents. I went out and got a new NIC this AM and things were
    perfect on the net within 10' of getting home. Wasted a lot of time, but
    have to be philosophical. My confidence is up a bit again.

    Now, if only I can get at my PC drives, change the name of the system, ....
