    Zhi Min,

    The x345 does not have the Summit chipset. Only 4-way and above IBM Intel
    servers employ the Summit chipset. There should be no issues supporting 4
    or 8gb of RAM under FC1. Please note that IBM will not support FC1 on any
    of their equipment. You may have issues if you have a ServeRAID adapter
    or RSA card installed in the x345 since drivers may not be updated for
    FC1.
