My network interface doesn't work fine

Hello,
I installed Fedora without problem.
I'm experiencing only one strange thing: I'm receiving my IP address
(and other) via DHCP.
All seems to be fine, but I cannot ping any IP address in my LAN: I can
only ping my IP address.
I checked my network configuration, but I haven't found any mistake.
For information: before the Fedora's installation, I installed Red Hat 9
with the same identical configuration without any problem in my network
configuration.
Another information: my Fedora's installation is in a Vmware virtual
machine.
Please, could anyone give me any help?
