    hi,
    i have some questions:
i compiled my new kernel, i create a bzImage and copied to the /boot/
    folder.
Do i need to generate the System.map and the initrd and other files that
are in the same folder and have names including the kernel version?
This is my /boot/ folder listing:

    total 8409
    -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1208178 Feb 27 18:03 bzImage
