I'm trying to build the EL kernel on FC1 but I'm getting compilation
errors. I presume I have to build it with gcc32, but I can't seem to make
    rpmbuild do that:

    Amongst other things, I've tried:

    export CC=gcc32
    rpmbuild --rebuild kernel-2.4.21-9.0.1.EL.src.rpm

But, looking at the output and processes while building, I can see that
the default gcc 3.3 is being used.

    What's the trick?
