try clicking the link to the website that hosts the stream
and using the stream from within the site.
I dono why. but that's how I got my xmms to play streams.
it's probably due to a change within xmms, I upgraded the version and it
stopped working . so the fix is to go directly to the stream site and
load the url that way.
