While others are correct that test-list is a better place to take this
discussion, I always use the following command to burn CD isos:
# cdrecord -v -dao -eject dev=1,0,0 bootable.iso
cdrecord must be run as root (unless extra steps have been taken) and
"dev=1,0,0" is determined by '# cdrecord -scsnbus' If you use that
information to edit /etc/cdrecord.conf first, then dev=<whatever> is not
needed at all.
If you must use Nero 6, use "Recorder/Burn Image" and select the "Disk
at Once" checkbox.
