    hi there:

thanks for all your help getting me set up. i am almost there..... i
    hope;)

just another quick one. i am trying to remove a (sound) module by
    typing:

      /sbin/rmmod soundcore

    and i get this:

      soundcore: Device or resource busy

do i need to release it first? how do i do this? is soundcore the
default sound driver in Fedora? i want to put a new driver in and want
to make sure that i remove the right one.

i am setting my Fedora up with Pd and other audio composition programs.
    info on this is at:

    http://ccrma.stanford.edu/planetccrma/software/installkernelandsound.html

    many thanks again

    CHUN
