After being hacked and stuff I went out and gathered information. Here
are some of the pages I came over:

    http://www.faqs.org/docs/securing/index.html
    http://www.faqs.org/docs/gazette/tips.html
    http://www.chkrootkit.org/
    http://www.bastille-linux.org/
    http://httpd.apache.org/docs/misc/security_tips.html
    http://www.linux4biz.net/articles/securitytips.html
    http://www.userlocal.com/security/securitytips.php
    http://linux.cudeso.be/linuxdoc/portsentry.php

chkrootkit is one thing that you should install, and also portsentry...

Let me know if this was of any help.

    Yours,
    Trond

Aide is a pretty good sub. Google for the homepage.
