    Actually, you can force the order of loading by using the scsihosts kernel
    parameter. For example, I use:

    scsihosts=aic7xxx,aic79xx

    to load aic7xxx before aic79xx driver. Just append the appropriate arguments to
    your kernel line and you should be good to go.
