    Someone else can tell you about the 64-bit mode stuff, but FWIW, I have an
    Athlon64 system which I'm developing 32-bit FC2 stuff on, and am therefore
    running 32-bit FC2. It runs very very nicely. I don't really need the extra
    bits, so I don't mind waiting a bit to switch over.
