IIRC, at least under FC1, when you do that it says that your password
will be transmitted unencrypted. Also, IIRC, everything after NT4.0sp6
requires encrypted passwords. I do have a FC1 box at work and it is on
a (non active directory) windows network. When I tried this yesterday
with a win2000 server, it rejected me, though I could connect fine to
the win9x boxes.
