Hi, I have a problem with esd, it crackles and pops like a very old and
dusty record, OSS sounds fine, arts sounds fine except that rhytembox
often dies if I use it., and obviously OSS is only good for one app at a
    time.

Using fedora core 2 and alsa. Any tips, or is it possible to get
multiple apps to use sound via oss and alsa with out esd?

    thanks
