    Hi,

I asked about this a few months ago but never got it
    resolved.
I'm running Firestarter as my firewall. (Yes, I've
asked the Firestarter users; no resolve). When my
network is re-started or when my IPS refreshes my IP
address (it is static); I have to manually restart the
    firewall.

Firestarter is supposed to restart by itself when my
pppoe dsl re-starts via ip-up.local. It does not.
I have placed a piece of code a user sent that would
show when and if the file was executed by logging in
the system log. It shows that ip-up.local is executed
but I still have to manually re-start.

I have sh /etc/firestarter/firestarter.sh start in my
    ip-up.local file.

Does anyone have a suggestion as how I could further
    troubleshoot this problem?
    Thanks for your help.
