Alien is really a perl script. Therefore installing alien on your system
is really easy. Go here and get
the source:
http://www.kitenet.net/programs/alien/
Extract the source (It will make a directory named alien...), enter the
source directory, su to root
and type all on one line:
perl Makefile.PL; make; make install
Hit the enter key. Once you do this, the latest version of alien will be
installed on your system.
