    Just configure DHCP on the router to hand out 192.168.1.64 thru .127 and
    assign static IPs to your own machines in the lower half of the range
    (0-63). You don't have to worry about MAC addresses, you get to use easily
    manageable host files, and temporary additions to the LAN get to use DHCP.
