    Hi,

    I have a problem getting an Netgear WG511 recognized by the system.
    I had this problem with FC2 and have it still after i installed FC3
    FC3 found the PCMCIA Card and installed the prism54 drivers and tries to start them during the boot.
    For me it looks like a problem on the PCMCIA/hotplug side

    Here are some error Messages when i try to do an modprobe prism54:

    Jan 16 22:24:36 kernel: PCI: Failed to allocate mem resource #0:2000@e5008000 for 0000:06:00.0
    Jan 16 22:24:36 kernel: Loaded prism54 driver, version 1.2
    Jan 16 22:24:36 kernel: PCI: Enabling device 0000:06:00.0 (0000 -> 0002)
    Jan 16 22:24:36 kernel: ACPI: PCI interrupt 0000:06:00.0[A] -> GSI 11 (level, low) -> IRQ 11
    Jan 16 22:24:36 kernel: prism54: PCI device memory region not configured; fix your BIOS or CardBus bridge/drivers
    Jan 16 22:24:36 kernel: prism54: probe of 0000:06:00.0 failed with error -5

    I even tried to install ndiswrapper.
    After compiling and installing it i configured it with the windows driver for this card.
    Modprobe ndiswrapper brought nearly the same error message:

    Jan 17 00:47:57 kernel: ndiswrapper version 0.12 loaded (preempt=no,smp=no)
    Jan 17 00:47:57 kernel: ACPI: PCI interrupt 0000:06:00.0[A] -> GSI 11 (level, low) -> IRQ 11
    Jan 17 00:47:57 kernel: PCI: Unable to reserve mem region #1:1000@e5008000 for device 0000:06:00.0
    Jan 17 00:47:57 kernel: netwg511: probe of 0000:06:00.0 failed with error -16
    Jan 17 00:47:57 kernel: ndiswrapper: driver netwg511 (NETGEAR,04/06/2004, 2.1.22.0) added

    During the boot i get the following messages regard PCMCIA/Cardbus:

    Jan 17 01:02:27 kernel: Linux Kernel Card Services
    Jan 17 01:02:27 kernel: options: [pci] [cardbus] [pm]

    Does anyone have an idea what could be the Problem?

    Thanks a lot - it worked great!

    Let me know if you want me to test it on my system.
