    Aaron, this sounds promising. I have a Tyan K7 Thunder motherboard which
    has a pair of Adaptec 7899W controllers. The bootable disc is hooked up to
    one of the two contollers. In addition, there's an IDE drive that's hooked
    up to the builtin IDE controller. The BIOS is config'd to boot off of
    SCSI. Do I need to do anything to tell the CDROM to boot off of SCSI?
