    why don't u try k3b its good for burning cds or dvds.Check Add/Remove
    Applications you will find it or you can download it.

    Actually i don't exactly where the k3b is in FC2 as i am using FC3 and
    i don' t the know the site from where u can download it.

    You can try it under sound .
