    the reason i need the driver is that i'm doing a fedora install via ftp..
    the install requires to know what drivers are required from a list of
    drivers... or, i could copy the driver to a floppy, and insert it...

    Ethernet drivers are built into the kernel as modules. The stock kernel
    should provide the support. "lspci -vv"?
