Hi,
One alternative is to install gplflash.
http://gplflash.sourceforge.net/
It seems it compiles on 64 bit and can work with 64bit firefox on AMD64
gplflash is not 100% compatible with Macromedia flash but can do most of
the things. It comes with a player and a mozilla/firefox plugin.
