    Seems to me that if the DO not, the fail W3 (and in some cases) national
    accessibility guidelines.

    That aside, there are folk who for various reasons - some technical,
    some medical cannot "read" flash sites, and in order to communicate with
    them then they _must_ provide alternatives.

    Does anyone fancy defending a suit alleging discrimination against the
    blind?
