Write the following (e.g. for network card eth0 and eth1) in
/etc/rc.d/rc.local:
mii-tool -F 100baseTx-FD eth1
mii-tool -F 100baseTx-FD eth0
The system reads this file on system startup so you shouldn't have any more
problems with it.
