    I can nor run rpm as root. Whatever command I try to execute it prints
    the same statement.
    Rpm seems to work when I start the system in run level 1.
    In run level 1 I executed this command and it finished without an error
    but as root, it still
    gave the same error. This corruption of the database seem to occur even
    if I change desktops:
    switching between kde and gnome. There is some fundamental issue with
    FC4 that is
    causing this to occur.
