    Hello!
    Scene:

Motherboard: Asus P5GL-MX with I915GL chipset
    Memory: 512 MB
    HDD: SATA Seagate 80Gb.

When I run the Installer from CD/DVD after "boot:" prompt, begin the load
    kernel and then "Kernel Panic"
    I had tested with "nofb" and/or pci=off and/or "noprobe" and/or text at
    boot: but no chance.
The hardware has been tested, no problem.

    any idea?
    Somebody with I915GL Chipset ?
    Thanks
