    dovecot is part of the basic distribution. /etc/dovecot.conf is the
    configuration file. chkconfig --level 35 dovecot on
    will put dovecot at the proper place in the chkconfig system. But I
    suspect it is already done. service dovecot restart
    will restart dovecot after you configure /etc/dovecote.conf
    Finally,/usr/share/doc/dovecot-0.99.14/examples/dovecot-example.conf
    will give you a sample dovecot.conf file to use as a model.
    Be sure imap is chosen as one of the protocols.
